pridebet How the Parlay Calculator Builds Your Payout

How the Parlay Calculator Builds Your Payout

Every parlay multiplies the decimal odds of each leg together, then applies that combined multiplier to your wager. Add an NFL point spread, an NBA moneyline, and a player prop — the calculator converts each American odds line to its decimal equivalent, chains them, and spits out a projected return. Same-game parlays on a single football game work the same way: each

correlated leg feeds into the multiplier chain. Adjust any leg's odds or swap it out and the projected payout refreshes immediately. That real-time feedback is what separates a confident ticket from a guess.

HOW WE RUN THIS

What Makes Our Parlay Calculator Reliable

We've built the calculator on the same odds engine that powers our live sportsbook. No rounding surprises, no hidden margin built into the display — what you see is the math your ticket actually rides on.

Live Odds Feed

Calculator odds pull from our live sportsbook feed in real time. When a line moves on an NFL spread or NBA moneyline, the projected payout figure updates with it automatically.

American & Decimal Formats

Switch between American odds (moneylines like -110 or +250) and decimal format at any point. The calculator converts each leg consistently so the multiplier chain stays accurate.

Same-Game Parlay Rules Shown

Correlated leg restrictions are flagged directly in the calculator — you'll see which combinations the sportsbook allows before you try to submit the ticket.

Payout Tied to Your Wager

Enter your actual stake and the calculator returns a projected net profit alongside total payout. No separate math needed; the two figures display side by side on every build.

Parlay Calculator Terms You Should Know

These are the terms that come up most when you're reading a parlay ticket or working through the calculator.

01
What is a parlay leg?

A single selection within a parlay ticket — one game, one spread, one moneyline, or one prop. All legs must win for the parlay to cash.

02
What does the parlay multiplier mean?

The number you get when you multiply the decimal odds of every leg together. Your wager times this multiplier equals total projected payout before the sportsbook margin is applied.

03
What is a same-game parlay (SGP)?

A parlay built entirely from selections within one single game — for example, combining an NFL point spread with a player rushing-yard prop from the same matchup.

04
What are American odds in a parlay context?

The plus/minus format US sportsbooks use — like -110 or +250. The calculator converts these to decimal before chaining them so the multiplier math stays consistent.

05
What is a correlated parlay?

A parlay where winning one leg makes another leg more likely — such as a quarterback passing for 300 yards and his team covering the spread. Most books restrict these combinations.

06
What does 'push' mean on a parlay leg?

A tie result on one leg — for example, a spread lands exactly on the number. On most books the pushed leg is removed and the parlay recalculates as if that leg never existed.

Parlay Payout Questions We Hear Most

Real questions from people building NFL, NBA, and college football parlays — and the straightforward answers.

It converts each leg's odds to decimal, multiplies them all together, then multiplies that combined figure by your stake. The result is your projected total return including your original wager.

Yes. Add each SGP leg — spread, total, player prop — and the calculator chains their odds exactly the way a standard parlay works. Correlated combinations that are restricted will be flagged before you build.

Each additional leg multiplies the existing combined odds. A two-leg parlay at -110 each pays roughly 2.6x your stake; add a third identical leg and it climbs to about 6x. The math compounds quickly.

The projected payout reflects the odds as listed, which already include the sportsbook's margin built into the line. The calculator does not apply a second cut on top of that.

A pushed leg is dropped from the chain. If you had a four-leg parlay and one leg pushes, your ticket is recalculated as a three-leg parlay using the remaining legs' odds and your original wager.

Yes — the calculator loads in your mobile browser without any additional download. Build your ticket on your phone the same way you would on desktop; all the leg inputs and payout figures are there.
